A New Home

This is it, the brand new danielmurphy.ca, home to all things that I create (at least the things that I want people to see). I’ve really taken my time with this new design and implemented a lot of the things that I had always wished I had in past iterations. It’s built on a fully customized Wordpress theme and utilizes some of my favourite plug-ins. From the smart search bar to the auto light-box and new contact form as well as the amazing Disqus comment system. I’ve also made some changes to the Wordpress back-end, but unfortunately you can’t see those.

I’m looking forward to posting more often, making more of an effort to keep this up to date and grow a nice community where we can have some good conversation about design, development and all things on the web.

There will be a major update to the portfolio section soon as well, not only more content but some cool jquery functionality that I want to implement. What’s there now is a small sample of what I’ve got to show you guys.
