The next step in my continuing evolution as an eMarketer will be taking place in early May. Writing the AdWords exam and getting Google AdWords certification. I could write it sooner, but right now I’m going through all of the Learning Centre materials with a fine tooth comb. I’m currently in week 3 of my 10 week plan, going through one Learning Centre chapter a week and allowing one week for review. I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t know everything about AdWords, but have been using it long enough to have a very good working knowledge. I’ve been loving learning a lot of new little things that will expand my campaigns and make them much more effective.
Once done with that I’ll be getting further into php and improving my capabilities there, because let’s face it, if you’re a designer, you should be able to code your own sites, but that is a discussion for another day.
Armed with a highlighter and my self bound package of all the Google AdWords lessons I’m digging in and expanding my abilities to help my clients be as effective as they can on the web. For any other freelancers out there, what new things are you doing to further your skill set and give your clients the best service that you can?
